Job Summary: We seek an experienced Electrical Engineer with a Professional Engineering (PE) license to join our growing team. You will be critical in designing, developing, and implementing solar and battery storage projects. You will also play a key role in ensuring the technical excellence and successful execution of our projects while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of electrical engineering for solar and battery storage projects, from feasibility studies and conceptual design to detailed design and construction support.
- Perform detailed electrical engineering calculations, analyses, and modeling to ensure system efficiency, safety, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Develop and review electrical drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
- Stamp engineering drawings and documents according to your PE license.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., National Electrical Code (NEC), National Electrical Safety Code (NESC)).
- Collaborate with project managers, other engineers, and construction teams to ensure project success.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in solar and battery storage technologies.
- Assist with business development efforts by providing technical expertise during proposal development.
- May participate in site visits and provide technical support during construction and commissioning.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, resolving complex engineering issues as they arise.
- Quality assurance and quality control of electrical designs and reports.
Qualifications:
- Registered Professional Engineer in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- 2 years of utility-scale solar and battery storage experience.
- Experience understanding electrical systems design, power conversion, and grid interconnection.
- Familiar with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, NERC, and other applicable standards.
- Experience with electrical engineering software, including AutoCAD, ETAP/SKM, CYMCAP, and WinIGS/CDEGS.
- Experience with PV modeling tools: PVsyst and SAM.
- Field experience is preferred.
- Experience with specifying and procuring electrical equipment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Passion for renewable energy.
- Bilingual in Spanish, highly preferred.

Job Summary:
The Hydrology and Hydraulics Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and designing solutions related to water resources, including flood risk management, stormwater control, and waterway planning. This role requires expertise in modeling, data analysis, and design, focused on the behavior and movement of water through natural and artificial systems. The engineer will collaborate with other disciplines (structural, environmental, and mechanical) to develop comprehensive infrastructure projects for hydrological and hydraulic conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hydrological and hydraulic analyses, including stormwater management, floodplain modeling, watershed studies, and water balance evaluations.
- Design and review drainage, flood control, and water management systems such as detention basins, stormwater conveyance systems, culverts, channels, and levees.
- Utilize software tools such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, FLO-2D, geoHEC-RAS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar for hydrological and hydraulic modeling.
- Develop models to assess the impact of natural and human-induced changes on water systems (e.g., land-use changes, climate variability, or urban development).
- Perform floodplain mapping and evaluate flood risks to infrastructure.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Assist in permitting processes by complying with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Work closely with civil engineers, urban planners, environmental specialists, and clients to integrate hydrology and hydraulic considerations into project designs.
- Analyze water-related risks, design mitigation strategies, and provide recommendations for flood management and drainage solutions.
- Conduct site visits to collect data, inspect project sites, and assess environmental conditions affecting water movement and quality.
- Stay updated on advancements in hydrological modeling, best practices, and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree in Hydrology, Hydraulics, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in hydrological and hydraulic analysis and design. Previous experience with water resources infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
- Licenses/Certifications: A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. A Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) or similar certification is a plus.
- Other: Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
- Strong understanding of water resource engineering principles, hydrology, fluid dynamics, and stormwater management.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations related to water management (e.g., FEMA and EPA guidelines).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports and interacting with clients.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently as needed.

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to play a key role in the structural design and analysis of solar energy projects. This role will involve working with multi-disciplinary teams to develop structural systems for photovoltaic (PV) installations, solar farms, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, particularly within the renewable energy sector, and experience in large-scale solar and BESS projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in structural design and analysis for ground-mount utility-scale solar energy systems and utility-scale BESS projects.
- Perform structural calculations and simulations for various components such as racking systems, mounting structures, and foundations.
- Review and approve detailed construction drawings and ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, civil engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize designs and resolve structural challenges.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate geotechnical conditions and environmental factors impacting structural designs.
- Provide technical input in selecting materials, structural systems, and innovative design solutions for solar installations.
- Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and suppliers to source structural components and manage project timelines.
- Prepare and review structural engineering reports, calculations, and documentation for permitting and regulatory approvals.
- Assist in preparing project proposals, including cost estimations, timelines, and technical specifications for structural components.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering, with at least 2-4 years in the renewable energy or solar industry.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., L-pile, SAP2000, ETABS, RISA, or STAAD).
- Strong knowledge of building codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ASCE, AISC) related to solar energy projects.
- Experience with geotechnical engineering principles, foundation design, and seismic considerations in solar installations.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on large-scale solar energy (utility-scale PV systems) and utility-scale BESS projects.
- Familiarity with solar racking systems, wind load considerations, tracking systems, and battery manufacturers.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
- Knowledge of renewable energy project lifecycles, from feasibility to construction and commissioning.
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
